Beer & Gin Festival

6.30pm to 8.30pmLiverpool Ceilidh Band
Originally a 60s band has now reformed. Modern covers band with a celtic influence: Susie Howlin (Flute whistle), Ciara Owens (Banjo), Chris Roche (keyboard/vocals) Anita Rochford (accordian)
8.30pm to 10.30/11pmJoe Keegan Four Piece Irish Band
Singer, songwriter and musician from Manchester with a background in Irish Folk music.  These guys are a cracking folk band covering contemporary music and getting everyone up to dance!


1.30pm to 3.30pmBen Hughes
Singer/songwriter from Liverpool. His main musical influences include Tommy Emmanuel, Fleetwood Mac and Bob Dylan.
Amazing guitarist to watch – mustn’t be missed!
4pm to 6pmHipshaker
An energising indie rock duo with a serious knack for packing the dance floor! This electrifying duo covers all the bases – from sixties Merseybeat to the sounds of your favourite modern festival headliners – all with a trademark indie swagger.
6pm to 8.30pmPete Pegasiou (Duo act)
Making his name on the famous Mathew Street in Liverpool circuit, Pete Pegasiou is an acoustic-guitar-based singer/songwriter, inspired by music such as The Beatles, Noel Gallagher, Hall and Oates and Paul Simon.  Plenty of sing along songs!!
9.00 to 11.00pmGary Murphy
Currently a resident artist in the world-famous Cavern Club in Liverpool covering a range of music from Rock ‘n’ Roll and Pop, to Jazz, Blues and Country.  A phenomenal guitarist and one to watch.


1.00pm to 3.00pmThe Greasby UKES
A brilliant and fun local Ukalele band with tonnes of energy that you may have seen around the Wirral as they spend their timing raising a lot of money for local charities.
3.30pm to 5.30pm Joe Perry
Local musician for over 30 years and was lead guitarist with a rock’n’roll group Classic Affair.  He’s a local to the Fox and comes in every Sunday! He plays a varied selection of Sunday afternoon covers ranging from Travis, Johnny Cash & Elvis, Tears for Fears etc.
6pm – 8.30pmThe Mac Bros.
A folk/pop act based in Liverpool who boast an impressive resume; featuring on BBC’s ‘The Voice’ in 2015, and they were also championed by Rita Ora as “an unbelievable talent”.


In keeping with the festival theme we are doing some delicious food.  Our pub will be open as normal serving our delicious homemade menu but we will also be serving the following great dishes in our festival marquee.

FRIDAY 6pm to 9pm Irish Lamb Stew / Vegetarian Stew (butterbean, red pepper, spinach & root veg casserole)  – served with braised red cabbage and soda bread

SATURDAY 12pm to 8pm Pulled Pork Baps / Spicy Bean Burger  – Pulled pork marinated in hoisin, sweet chilli & plum sauce, sautéed onions and fresh fennel in a toasted brioche bun served with coleslaw.

SUNDAY 12pm to 7pmSunday Roast Yorkshire Pudding wrap – topside of beef or vegetarian roast with savoy cabbage and beef (or vegetable) gravy wrapped in a Yorkshire pudding served with a few roast potatoes.
